Maze-Navigating Robot Mice Swarm

dubbed Gophers

Collaborated with a professor to develop an online Master's course ENGG415 at Dartmouth in Distributed Computing. As part of a team of two undergrad engineers, we designed and built four robots, managing mechanical design, electronics, and embedded programming. They are built on an Arduino environment using wheel encoders and Time-of-Flight sensors for wall sensing.

We created atomic actions (e.g., move forward, scan walls) for remote control by students using Go. I set up the network infrastructure (one host and four PCs), running Linux, and developed digital control algorithms to ensure smooth maze navigation (e.g., lane centering, speed control). The course is currently being taught to 30+ students globally
